The registration to join the Mining program is now available and allows users that want to transform their Quadrans nodes into Miner or Masternode to join the community and obtain Quadrans Coin (QDC) as reward for your work on the blockchain.
Mining requires that the user itself is identified by Quadrans Foundation to verify the ownership of the QDT and QDC wallets.
If you don't own any Quadrans Token or you want to obtain more, join the Quadrans Community and participate in various initiatives proposed by the Quadrans Foundation.
Know your Customer (KYC) is the process of a business verifying the identity of its clients.
Quadrans Foundation requires KYC identification to the subscribers of the Quadrans Community for internal due diligence, in line with the principle of transparency.
To participate to Mining or Quadrans initiative to obtain Quadrans Tokens you are required to successfully complete a KYC process.
All recipients are required to be compliant with KYC before they can receive Quadrans Coins or Quadrans Tokens. KYC is necessary for us to assess the potential risks of illegal intentions towards the relationship with the user.
Quadrans Token is a digital tool used for specific purposes within Quadrans ecosystem. Quadrans Tokens are linked to the operational and mining functions of the network.
With enough QDT you can run specific functions within Quadrans ecosystem such as activating a Quadrans miner and creating smart contract automatisms.
Nodes are software that form the Quadrans blockchain infrastructure.
Each node stores a copy of the blockchain database structured in blocks of data and is responsible for distributing the blocks across the network.
A node constantly exchanges data with other peer nodes to ensure that new blocks are validated and all nodes stay up to date.
By joining Quadrans network you contribute to the validation and distribution of the set of data stored in the blocks of the chain.
Installing a node will also enable you to use applications provided by Quadrans Foundation for free, such as the documents Timestamping.
Each node can potentially become a mining node and actively contribute to make Quadrans blockchain function in a correct and secure way.
Compared to a traditional node, a mining node contains a Quadrans wallet that allows you to receive Quadrans Coins as a reward for your contribution to the network.
To activate a mining node you are required to own a minimum of 1000 QDT.
Quadrans Coins are the “gas” used by users to execute smart contracts, therefore necessary for data to be recorded onto Quadrans blockchain.
Quadrans Coins can be transferred peer-to-peer from a wallet to another.
You can also collect Quadrans Coins as a reward for your active contribution to the network through mining or as a Token Holder.
For mining nodes, the reward is proportional to the active time the node is connected to the network - the longer stays connected, the more QDC it will collect.
Token Holders receives reward periodically in exchange of simple good practice activities.
The growing usage of the infrastructure values the contribution of all Quadrans users.
A wallet is a software that you can use to send and receive Quadrans Coins. With a wallet you can interact directly with Quadrans blockchain, manage your account and view the transactions carried out.
A wallet associated two cryptographic keys - a private key and a public key. The wallet’s address is linked to the public key while the private key is used to digitally sign your blockchain transaction.
